The St. Rose CYO program would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. Our volunteers generously give their time and demonstrate a Christian spirit of support and respect for all athletes, while teaching the sport and promoting values of sportsmanship and teamwork. They work to motivate, encourage, and guide players, helping them reach their potential and understand their responsibilities to the Team, Church, and Community. At St. Rose CYO, we are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all parish and community members.
In line with the Diocese of Rockville Centre (DRVC) - Office for the Protection of Children and Young People, all St. Rose CYO volunteers are required to follow diocesan and parish safety protocols. This includes attending the Protecting God’s Children program, signing codes of conduct, and completing a Sterling background check through the Virtus website before the sports season begins. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide parents and guardians with confidence that their children are participating in a safe and enjoyable environment.
