Travel Basketball

This competitive basketball program is open to players ready to take their basketball skills to the next level. Players must try out for this sport each season, and selection to a team is not guaranteed. Players must participate in one full tryout and, if possible, all other tryout dates for a fair assessment of each player's skill, effort, attitude, and teamwork. The focus of this program is to expand the knowledge of basketball fundamentals and improve individual and cooperative basketball skills.  In addition, we aim to teach the proper technique for shooting, dribbling, defense, and rebounding while strengthening the player's particular skill set.   Player commitment is essential, and traveling to Parishes in Nassau and Suffolk counties is required.

Players selected to a Travel basketball team are welcome to participate in the Intramural Basketball program. Players interested in participating in both programs must complete a registration for the Travel program and a separate registration for the Intramural program.
